Worst website ever!
Skeeve
Stumbled across this link earlier.

http://www.hosann...

I apologize in advance for headaches.

I haven't seen a site like that since... this morning, actually. The local drive-in theater has a site like that. But other than that, this site took me back to 1997.

That's really a hideous design, and some of the stuff that is written there is awful.

Site does not "work" with Firefox browser.

I'm totally afraid to let IE have a go.... no telling what such an out-dated website contains, with regards to malicious code (unbeknownst to it's creators-- ignorance is *not* bliss...!)

Too confusing to make head-nor-tails of...

It looks that way on all browsers, Bob. I hope they didn't pay someone to create that...

Holy crap, that's a headache waiting to happen.

It's not totally bad, though. They really need some scrolling text on there somewhere and some MIDI music.
You're just jealous because the voices are talking to me and not you.

Blink-text.

They need more blink-text...

*barf*

Holy Handgrenade, Batman-- they *DO* have crappy midi music-- but because you're not using IE 6 (according to the site itself) you can't hear it....

Good thing I use Firefox then. There was a popup which I didn't allow, so that may have been it.

I used Google Chrome to view it and heard the MIDI music - ack! lol.

Yes, I'd say this qualifies (currently, at least) for the worst website ever. It was disturbingly painful to view (and listen to - about 20 seconds of that before I shut off the sound).

It's the absolutely worst-designed site I've ever seen.

The content is a hoot as well.
Did you know that Hitler was a rabid anti-smoker?
Gesundheit ist Pflicht! {Health is Duty!}- Nazi Party slogan from the 1930s - Hitler was a rabid anti-smoker.

Here we have a fundy railing against "omnipotent moral busybodies".
What a hoot !
To those who love God,

"Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. "- C.S. Lewis - who was a SMOKING Christian! "

Yes, it looks exactly the same in Firefox as it does in IE
I have them both open to the same page, side-by-side, right now.

What a HOOT ! ROFL !!!

Apparently he wasn't rabidly anti-syphilis though.

So is that site pro-smoking or something? Sorry, I couldn't look at it for very long what with the blood coming from my eyes.

That's one site I really wish I hadn't clicked on the link for.
I'll drink to that. Or anything else for that matter.

Define 'malicious'....

On the one hand, it's an out and out attack on whoever is unlucky enough to view the site. I'm not worried about my machine, I'm worried about my eyes and my sanity.

On the other hand, they 'know not what they do'. I'm sure someone's actually proud of it.

(* sigh *)

What I was referring to, perhaps too obliquely, was that such an ignorant and immature "design" for a website, would also be ignorant of even the most basic security protocols.

Websites such as that, are a phisher's dream--- they break into the site's root, install nefarious code to do whatever it is they are phishing for, and quietly leave-- never touching the site's basic appearance.

Then, due to it's awful appearance, the site garners some attention, (not unlike what we gave it) the phishing code springs to life, infecting the viewers' if they've not taken adequate precautions.

That's what I meant by malicious code.... I should've been more clear-- my bad.

Oh, I understood you. I was being 'cute'.

(Now admit it, aren't I cute?)
Wink

After all, you didn't worry about a malicious website, you explicitly said 'malicious code'.

Cute, cute, cute !!
