From PZ Meyer's site: http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2010/08/another_ten_commandments_poll.php http://www.bnd.com/2010/08/11/1360317/marion-mulling-ten-commandments.html The question: Should a southern Illinois town put the 10 commandments in its town square? When PZ voted the poll was at: Yes. It's good to remind people of God's laws governing our behavior. 72% No. It violates separation of church and state, and is offensive to non-Christians. 23% Who knows? 5% That was yesterday. When I voted a little while ago it was at: Yes. It's good to remind people of God's laws governing our behavior. 546 - 5% No. It violates separation of church and state, and is offensive to non-Christians. 11002 - 95% Who knows? 52 - 0% |

Great! I'm glad it turned around. Probably the question was posed and first answered by uberChristians, then a more widespread rational element found it out. |
