Brain mix ups
Do you sometimes have funny brain mix ups? A little while ago my son and I were looking at the DVDs trying to decide what to watch for bedtime wind down and he asked if I wanted to watch that pigeon show. (He was referring to "Valiant, a cartoon). In my brain I pictured "March of the Penguins", a nature show, but my ears had heard the pigeon word so I said "Walk of the Pigeons?" My son looked at me and said "What?"and died laughing. I then realized what I'd just said and we spent a good fifteen minutes laughing our butts off.

Brain mix ups can be hilarious. Since I am a multi-tasker I have them quite often. I'll be reading and talking to someone at the same time and sometimes the words I'm reading will sneak into my sentences. Do y'all tend to do this as well?
Whew, maybe I'm not going crazy after all. ;rofl;

We refer to them, in this neck of the woods, as brain farts!
I'll drink to that. Or anything else for that matter.
derF, I call those moments when your mind draws a blank "brain farts".

I have those a lot too.

I wanna see "Walk of the Pigeons"!

Is it narrated by Morgan Freeman as well?

Reality is that which is left, after you stop believing.
I predict it would be a hit followed by the sequel, "Stroll of the Sparrows"

How about "Crawl of the Cormorants?"
You're just jealous because the voices are talking to me and not you.

OH Boy! Here we go!

"The amble of the Emu"
"The parade of the Peregrine"
"The walk of the Hawk"
"The shimmy of the Guinea"
I'll drink to that. Or anything else for that matter.
Thenthere would be the porn version, "The Canter of the Cock"
"The Tango of the Turkeys"
"The Limp of the Loons"
"The Swing of the Seagulls"

Take my word for it Rayven, you're not the only one who has brain mix ups. Sometimes my words come out like they go through a blender before they exit my brain, and then my mouth.

"The Waddle of the Ducklings."

My son brought it up again today and said that if he becomes a cartoonist he's going to make a cartoon about it. I didn't tell him that it probably wouldn't be all that funny unless a person had been there. (He thinks it was hilarious.)

Then again, it sounds like something the piggy would say in the Pearls before Swine cartoons, he's always saying things improperly.
