Next 5,000 Days on the Web
Couldn't find the thread about the age of the internet to tag this on. Sorry.

Just came across an interesting short talk by Kevin Kelly at TED who, now that the World Wibe Web (not the net, the weCool is 5,000 days old, predicts developments over the next 5,000.

Pretty mind-boggling fortune telling here:

If Kelly is right, we'll have have to become pretty transparent as individuals in the future. I'm not sure that's a bad thing. I know others here will disagree and put forward the perfectly valid alternative view that we need more privacy, not less.
